According to Shri Krishna, there are 3 gunas in Life to uplift oneself spiritually and reduce the attachment from the materilaistic world. Please note that this blog is not to overcome the materialistic world, buyt to reduce its attachment from us and get uplifted step by step.
So let us directly hit the target —

  1. Raja Guna (रजो गुण / রজো গুণ) : It makes a man selfish. When influenced by desire and materialistic temporary problems, he tends to harm others for his own benefit an have a quick solution to his problem.
  2. Sata Guna (सतो गुण / সত গুণ) : It makes a man attached to the materialistic happiness and peace and tends to divert him from his focus. It is when a person fails to distinguish between the right and the wrong.
  3. Tama Guna (तमो गुण / তমো গুণ) : Just like the darkness of night, an illusion is created infornt of us. If we can see the other side, overlooking the illusion, we will automatically reduce our attachment with the materialistic world and uplift ourselves spiritually.

Shri Krishna also said that our Words(Vachan) are Horses(Ashwa). Once gone out of the mouth or stable, they’re never to return again. So, if we fail to control our Horses with the proper skill (within the proper time), the Horse may may injure its rider i.e. our Words can effect an injury to ourselves.

Moral: To rise in Life, we must control our words and know our limitations, then plan our work or Karma accordingly.

Jai Shri Krishna 🙏🏽

Har Har Mahadev 🙏🏽
